Deb’s Real Spanish Sangria!

This makes enough for 10 people !

For young people, I use 1 cup of brandy but for my friends 2 cups do it!

Get a large container, beverage server or punch bowl.

Dice 2 apples, 2 oranges and 2 lemons. You can throw in anything else you wish but the Spanish version is apples, oranges and lemons. I often will put in a few tablespoons of blueberries or cranberries but they are for artistic merit only. Wild cherries, raspberries an the like are great in the white version.

Take the diced fruit and place it in the container along with 1 gallon of Dry White or Red Spanish wine. Then heat together 6 tablespoons of sugar with a bit of wine. When the sugar is diluted pour it in the container and place in the refrigerator over night.

The next day, add 6 cups of Orange Juice, 1/2 Cup of Triple Sec or Cointreau and 1 or 2 cups of Brandy.

Put Fresh mint on the top or in the glass and put Uber on speed dial!
